Now it comes up from time to time about finding a older used coleman lamp or stove at your local yard sale or Salvation Army shop. Most are really, really used. and lighting one is a scary thought. Well, I found this little gem of info a while back.

This site covers a lot of need to know info on coleman stoves and lanterns. I found a older 1953 2 mantel awhile back. I've got it rebuilt now. looking at picking up a stove next. oh... and while I think of it, rob was talking about a propane to gas stove convet. kit. They are 17.99 at wal mart.

Hey, that's a cool site. Thanks for posting it. I've got an old Coleman stove form my in-laws. I keep meaning to restore it. Now I'll have to pull it out and check it out on this site.
