I'm sure you're wondering why there hasn't been any new episodes lately. In short, it's because the podcast is so popular. I know that doesn't really make much sense, but the popularity has caused the bandwidth to skyrocket and since I'm funding this myself, it has gotten to a point where I couldn't afford the bandwidth fees on top of the server fees. I didn't expect the show to be as popular as it is so quickly. I figured that it would take years to develop the listener base we have. Don't get me wrong, I'm glad we're at this point, it's just that we aren't ready to support the costs yet.

We're looking for ways to reduce these costs. I haven't been all that keen on getting paid advertising or sponsorship, as that requires certain restrictions on the show. And pay-on-action advertising is often an empty cup.

On the personal side, the economic mess has hit rather close to home. Nothing earth-shattering at this moment, but we're definitely sitting on the edge and waiting to see if we're going to be pushed off or not. And this has also taken up my time.

My partner Greg has also had some interesting things in his life that have taken up his time, so together, we haven't been finding a lot of time for this hobby.
