I thought I would pass along the following ham radio related podcast links, for those here that may be interested in this format for ham radio license preparation and/or code practice.

I do recommend getting a ham radio license as a part of your comprehensive preparedness plan. If you don't have your license yet, Keep in mind the test questions are available on line as a (free) download, the test is multiple choice, pass and your license is good for life, with (free) on-line renewal every 10 years. It has never been easier to get your license.

For those that might be interested in brushing up on their Morse code skills there is "Morse resource". This site post daily Morse code podcast, at speeds from 5 WPM (words per minute) and up. It is an easy way to squeeze in a little extra code practice between "Preparedness podcast" episodes. While there is no longer a requirement to learn Morse code it is a useful skill, and as a podcast it is easy to do while driving, no tuning required, ha.

Next, is a site with "podcast format" ham license preparation. While I don't think the podcast format alone would work for me, any additional method that helps is a good thing. This site has podcast for each of the ham license classes. I do recommend you download a copy of the current test question pool, and to have a copy of the ham frequency band plan to use with this format.
