Post Damdest knife I ever saw.
Has anyone heard of the "American Tactical Survival Tool"?

Don't let the fancy name fool you; It's just a folding knife.

But it's different than most knives I've known. This ones all plastic! OK. Let me phrase it correctly. It is constructed of Zytel -A glass filled, polymer resin compund- and has a nonmetallic, rust-free spring.

So you can go through metal detectors with it. Meh. I want to know how do you sharpen the dang thing? Will a powered sharpener (the electric types) create so much friction that it melts the blade? How quickly does it dull? What is the stregnth of the blade itself? Can I pound on it as much as I pound on my other folding blades of the same size?

For 10 bucks I'm going to have to try one. When I get one, I'll do some tests and let you know the results. It might come in some unique colors...

but it's not a "survival tool".

I haven't seen these, but own a couple knives made out of Zytel. They'll hold an edge for a short period of time, so are most usable as a stabbing weapon. And yes, you can get through a metal detector with them, but in today's clime if you're caught, you'll be going away for a long time.
